Dr. Liman Ibrahim Alhaji (MlFireE), retired Controller General of Federal Fire Service of Nigeria is AssetBow’s Executive Chairman. The Company is privileged to have such highly experienced Fire Service administrator, fire Protection engineering guru, and seasoned educationist in its team. Educated at the Ahmadu Bello University and University of Calabar where he obtained a Bachelor and Master degrees respectively in Public Administration.

Dr. Liman’s Fire Service career spans several years, with several accolades to match his selfless services to humanity. His Fire Safety and leadership experience is hard to match. He attended several leadership and strategic management level courses in Fire and Explosions Hazard Management, Crises and Disaster Management organized by Bournemouth University and the Royal Institute of Public Administration, (RiPA) United Kingdom.

Air Vice Marshal Akugbe Iyamu (Retired) is AssetBow Limited Executive Vice Chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and a Master in National Security Administration from the National Defence College of the Philippines. He has vast experience in disaster management and acted as the Director General National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). He is a renowned climate change expert and author with more than 400 articles on climate change and the environment. (He has attended various management strategic, disaster, and risk management courses across the globe).

He is a fellow of the following institutions:

  1. Institute of Security, Nigeria
  2. Institute of Disaster Management, Nigeria
  3. Institute of Emergency Crisis and Risk Management, Nigeria

He is conferred with the following awards:

  1. Outstanding Leadership Meritorious Service (Gold Award 2018)
  2. Icon of Executive Disaster Management Merit Award.

Virgilus Akama Onyeka (FIFireE)

MD/CEO

Virgil is Assetbow’s MD/CEO. He holds (MSc, London; BSc, London; FlFireE; Commonwealth Research Diploma (Fire Engineering); British Safety Council IDipIOSH; Member National Association of Fire Investigators; ISO: 18001 Certified Lead Auditor. Virgil has been involved in the Fire and Explosions Strategy Implementation, Fire Risk Evaluation, systems protection requirements, control and containment philosophies for over 28years. He has held various strategic level positions in the oil and gas industry; including Chief Fire Officer for Shell in Nigeria, Head OF Fire Services for Qatar Petroleum Dukhan, Chief Fire Officer for the Nigerian Airport Authority Port- Harcourt, Fire Master ZADCO offshore team in Abu Dhabi, Fire Master Delta International Petroleum Co. Abu Dhabi, and Fire & HSE Specialist Advisor for AssetCo Fire.

Educated in the United Kingdom, Virgil is a Fellow of the institution of Fire Engineers. He was a Commonwealth Foundation Fire Engineering Scholarship winner in 1986, and has published work on Crash Management under impact-survivable aircraft Accidents which was supervised by the Institution of Fire Engineers. Virgil has been Speaking on Fire & Explosions Hazard Management at International Conferences, Workshops and Seminars. He was a Panelist at the IOSH 2014 London Conference and Speaker at the Emergency Management Oil and Gas Summit in Singapore 2018.

Mike is Assetbow’s Executive Director, International business development and a renowned technocrat and business leader. He is a Sandhurst UK graduate, with meritorious and enviable military career spanning several years. Mike steers the international business development ship of the organisation, managing and providing steer to both AssetBow and the Partner organisation in London and the UAE. He is a top-notch and seasoned business administrator with corporate growth and development expertise.

Mike has been involved in the corporate level strategic, tactical operational development and administration.

Omer is Assetbow’s Executive Director International Business Liaison. He is a dynamic, ambitious and active instructor, who Graduated at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He has the privilege and honour be the first Sudanese officer commissioned at the RMA Sandhurst. He attended many courses in the United Kingdom & United States of America. He gained his leadership qualities and experience by serving in the Armed Forces interacting with many British Senior officers. He retired and joined AssetCo Fire & Rescue Services PLC – Abu Dhabi – UAE.

AssetBow’s Director of Technical Services, Engr. Quintus Gerald Azogu (Rtd Deputy Controller General of the Federal Fire Service), holds a Master of Engineering Degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Federal University of Technology Minna. Engr. Azogu was employed into Federal Ministry of Works and Housing and later to Federal Fire Service where he spent 25yrs as head of various key Sections, Divisions and Departments. Also, he coordinated activities of the Service in significant number of National assignments. Engr. Azogu attended various professional development courses in Nigeria and overseas. He is a corporate Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Council for Regulation of Engineering Practice in Nigeria (COREN) and Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) UK.

AssetBow Limited Director of Training/Competence Services, Alhaji Tijjani Muhammad Abbas (Rtd Deputy Controller General of the Federal Fire Service), holds APGD from University of Maduguri and a Master Degree in Public Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria. Alhaji Tijjani commenced his illustrious Fire Service career in 1981 with the Kano Fire Service. He rose to become Commandant of the Kano State Fire Service Training College and Deputy Director of Kano Fire Service after which he joined the Federal Fire Service as the Commandant of the National Fire Academy, a post he held until his retirement.
